Dave Day 2025: A Day to Remember
Dave Day 2025
In honour of the Hairy Biker Dave Myers, Dave Day 2025 brought thousands of people together to celebrate and honour his life. With the aim of spreading hope and happiness to all regardless of who you are or where you're from whilst honouring and remembering Dave and all other lost loved ones.
The raffle of the one-of-a-kind Dave Day Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, raised over £11,000 for the Dave Day charities, NSPCC Childline and CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
This video tells the story of Dave Day, the emotion, celebration and community behind the day, that lives on in Dave's honour.
Starting at the Ace Cafe in London, thousands of bikers set off on their journey to Barrow-in-Furness, making numerous stops along the way. Orientation Marketing's Co-Founders Chris and Gareth joined at Knutsford rocking their floral shirts, joining the celebration of Dave Myers' life. In Barrow-in-Furness, there was an array of activities and events to get involved in, including the charity concert and bike raffle.
As a cause that's close to our hearts, we knew we wanted to be involved in any way we could. So we bought a motorcycle, and with the help of Royal Enfield, Bill Smith Motorcycles, Merlin Bike Gear, Mask Monkey, RetroFuzz and Caulfield Leathers, we auctioned it off at the event. This special motorcycle, inspired by the legendary Hairy Biker Dave Myers, is custom designed with a vibrant "Hawaii" paint job by the talented Matt Kendall. Additionally, the prize included a matching custom painted Merlin Motorcycles helmet.
Overall, we raised £11,520 from tickets sold. We got in contact with the winner, Paul, he explained the reason he entered the raffle was because one of his friends had recently passed away from cancer, so the cause really resonated with him. It was a truly beautiful story.
