International Day of Happiness

Five of our happy moments over the last 12 months!

International Day of Happiness aims to make people around the world realise the importance of happiness in their lives. There are multiple benefits of being happy including protecting your health, enabling better sleep and reducing stress. It makes you not only feel good within yourself but radiates that energy onto others around you, creating a positive environment for everyone.

Here at Orientation Marketing, we aim to put a smile on everyone’s faces. Whether it’s clients or staff, happiness is our priority. So, let’s take a look at five of the happy moments that we’ve had over the past year.

1. Continuous Professional Development

Some of our staff completed a digital marketing course by The Chartered Institute of Marketing to ensure their knowledge and skills is always at the top level. Here at the agency, we strive to be the best of the best and always develop our knowledge further, by doing this we can provide the best service to our clients to guarantee quality service and results to back that up. Once again, congratulations to Anne and Lauren for completing this course and showing everyone what this agency is made of!

2. CPHI Barcelona

We attended CPHI Barcelona back in October and it was great to meet our clients, partners and friends to discuss all things marketing. CPHI is an important event in the pharmaceutical industry, it’s tailored to professionals meaning you’ll be able to find the key players of the industry there, all under one roof. We were able to meet with many fantastic professionals and build new relationships, as well as see the beautiful city of Barcelona. With its rich culture and architecture, our team also made the most of sightseeing at any spare moment. It was great to be back at CPHI once again in such an incredible city, and we look forward to returning this year to the glamorous city of Milan.

3. Growth Within the Agency

Over the past year, we have appointed new members. Elliott Berger joined the Board of Directors, providing strategic business and marketing counsel, and a wealth of experience within this industry. Chris Halling joined as the Director of Communications and Content, with over 30 years of experience his expertise has been extremely valuable at the agency. Dave Hall joined as the Creative Lead to oversee our creative design, providing a forensic level of detail to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard. Lucy Clements also joins us as a Digital Marketing Apprentice to provide marketing support after impressing during a short period on work experience. We look forward to the continuous growth within the agency.

4. Partnering With BiotechBikers

We agreed a year-long sponsorship deal with BiotechBikers, who are a networked community of professionals from the life sciences industry to uncover new opportunities through a shared passion for cycling. They bring together biopharma, biotech, academic bioscience and healthcare professionals from around the world for social events aimed at building collaborative business networks while supporting multiple charitable causes. We are very excited to be connected with them and contribute to the mission of fostering partnerships to drive innovation and using cycling as a focus to do good.

5. Supporting our clients

Finally, and more importantly, we’ve had a great year of supporting some of our fantastic clients. As we continue to support some of our longstanding clients such as Catalent, Vectura and Associates of Cape Cod Int’l., we also celebrate supporting some of our more recent clients from the past year, such as Nanoform, Adare Pharmaceuticals and Prevail Infoworks, whom we have recently launched a new website for at the turn of the year.

Lucy Clements

Lucy joins Orientation Marketing as a Digital Marketing Apprentice and will support the wider team on all aspects of digital marketing. She comes to the agency having studied business, psychology, and media studies, and her current apprenticeship follows two periods of work experience with us. She is currently studying through an advanced digital marketer programme run by Apprentify, a leading apprenticeship training agency, where, alongside on-the-job learning, Lucy will develop her knowledge through formal training in social media, branding, search engine optimisation and pay-per-click.
