International Day of Happiness 2026

Six of Our Most Joyful Moments from the Past 12 Months!

International Day of Happiness aims to help people around the world realise how important happiness is in their lives. Happiness provides a range of benefits, including, boosting your health, enhancing your sleep, and reducing stress. It not only makes you feel good inside, but it also spreads that positive energy to those around you, creating a better atmosphere for everyone.

This day is a reminder of the importance of celebrating the moments that bring us joy, both professionally and personally. At Orientation Marketing, happiness comes from progress, shared experiences, and the people who make it all happen.

Over the past year, we’ve had plenty to celebrate. From major milestones to everyday wins, here are some of the highlights that have shaped our journey.

1. Celebrating our 10th Birthday

Last year marked a huge milestone for the agency, our 10th birthday. Reaching a decade in business is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it gave us the perfect opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come.

From our beginnings to where we are today, the journey has been driven by our team, our clients, and a shared commitment to delivering impactful marketing. Celebrating this milestone together, especially at our 10th birthday party, was a moment to recognise both our achievements and the exciting future ahead.

Our party was filled with fun, laughter and connection. From clients to friends to the amazing Orientation Marketing team, thank you to everyone who has made the last 10 years so special, we truly couldn't have done it without you.

It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we can’t wait to see what the next 10 years hold.

2. Continued Growth Across the Agency

Growth has remained a key theme throughout the year. As the agency continues to evolve, we’ve expanded our capabilities, strengthened our team, and enhanced the way we support our clients.

Over the past year, we have welcomed several new members. Sarah Darcy joined as a Sales Operations Executive, acting as the primary point of contact for major pharmaceutical services advertisers and ensuring smooth execution across multiple international campaigns. Felicity Thomas came on board as a Associate Director of Editorial and Content, enhancing and expanding the agency’s content writing and communications capabilities. Kirsten Rowley came on board to the Creative team as Senior Designer, helping brands to push their creative further to capture attention and build stronger connections.

Catrin Hughes joined as a Digital Marketing Executive working within the digital team to deliver campaigns and support ads across search and social channels. Rebecca Hall joined us as Senior PR and Communications Manager, helping clients develop communications to generate awareness and communicate clearly with their biopharma partners and other stakeholders. Rob Anderton joined as Business Development Manager, helping to promote the full range of agency services to international pharmaceutical companies. We welcomed Agata Komisarczyk as Marketing Automation and CRM Implementation Executive, overseeing CRM implementations and lifecycle marketing projects.

This ongoing development ensures we’re always moving forward, adapting to industry changes, and maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

3. A Commitment to Continuous Learning

A key highlight this year has been becoming an official HubSpot Partner, including welcoming Agata to the team. This has strengthened our ability to support clients with more advanced inbound marketing strategies, automation, and CRM integration, helping them generate leads and build stronger customer relationships.

Investing in our people is at the heart of what we do, and this year has seen fantastic progress across the team:

The digital team has demonstrated an effort for ongoing development, in September, Lucy (Digital Marketing Executive) completed her Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing qualification with a Distinction, showcasing her hard work and determination.

Gareth (Digital Marketing Operations Director) has demonstrated a commitment to continuing development as a professionally certified marketer by becoming a CIM Chartered Marketer for the 5th year in a row.

Lily (Account Executive) has attained the CIM Level 4 in Content Marketing and Social Media Marketing. These credentials reflect her ability to align digital communications with broader business objectives.

Agata (Marketing Automation and CRM Implementation Executive) and Gareth are working towards their HubSpot Implementation for Partners certification, which will aid the team in enabling businesses to transition smoothly onto the HubSpot customer platform, streamline their operations, and drive growth.

By prioritising learning, we ensure our knowledge stays current, our skills continue to grow, and our clients benefit from the very best expertise.

4. Dave Day 2025

Dave Day 2025 was another memorable moment for the team. It’s a day that brings people together, combining community, celebration, and a shared purpose.

The raffle of the one-of-a-kind Dave Day Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 raised over £11,000 for the Dave Day charities, NSPCC Childline and CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Being part of such a meaningful event is something we value greatly, and it will continue to be an important date in our calendar.

5. Social Events That Bring Us Together

While we take pride in our work, we also know the importance of stepping back and enjoying time together. Over the past year, we’ve had a fantastic range of social events, including:

Padel matches, quiz nights, and industry meetups such as the Searchability event. We have also been lucky enough to have several parties over the past year, including our Summer social, our annual Christmas party, and our Chester and Frankfurt 10th birthday party.

These moments strengthen our team culture, helping us build connections that go beyond the day-to-day.

6. A Busy Year of Industry Events

Events have once again played a huge role in our year. Attending global industry events allows us to connect with clients, partners, and peers, while staying at the forefront of the life sciences sector.

Over the past year, we’ve attended and supported events including:

JPM Week, DCAT, CDMO Leadership Awards (US and Europe), BIO International Convention and CPHI Frankfurt.

Each event provides valuable opportunities to share insights, explore new ideas, and strengthen relationships.

At CPHI Frankfurt 2025, we held our annual Beer and Sausage Trail, this event was a fantastic success, offering a blend of networking, local culture and light-hearted fun. We also held our 10th birthday party during CPHI Week, which was an incredible event to bring everyone together to celebrate such a momentous occasion.

We can’t wait to see you in Milan this year!

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate International Day of Happiness, it’s clear that our happiest moments come from growth, collaboration, and shared success.

Whether it’s developing new skills, celebrating milestones, or connecting at events around the world, every moment contributes to who we are as an agency.

Here’s to another year of progress, partnership, and plenty more moments to celebrate.
